Barry Anderson is Executive Vice President - Sales & Marketing for Ginn Hospitality. He owns more than 30 years of experience in hospitality and resort management.

Prior to his employment with Ginn Resorts, Anderson served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The Peabody Hotel Group. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing efforts for 11 luxury hotels, positioning and development of the Peabody brand as one of the finest luxury hotel experiences in the U.S., and was also active in asset management and hotel acquisition. Leading up to this position, he held a 17-year tenure as vice president of marketing for the Peabody Orlando, a 900-room, deluxe convention hotel, in which he also directed corporate sales and marketing efforts for Peabody properties in Memphis, Tenn,  Little Rock, Ark., and franchised owned and operated hotels from Boston, Mass. to Greenville, S.C.

Before joining The Peabody Group, Anderson worked with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts Corporation for 13 years as regional director of sales and marketing, where he managed marketing efforts at over 10 Hyatt properties from Oahu, Hi. to Orlando, Fl.  Barry has held memberships in myriad professional organizations, including serving on the board of Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, chairing the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau sales and marketing committee, and serving on various committees of American Society of Association Executives.

Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Pennsylvania State University. He resides in Windermere, Fla. with his wife and two children.
