David Muenks serves as senior vice president of development for the Central Florida region of Ginn Resorts™.  In this position, he oversees the vertical and horizontal building of all Ginn properties located in Central Florida, currently including Ginn Reunion® Resort, Bella Collina® and Aviata, formerly known as the Ginn Airport DRI project.  His goal and responsibility is to keep the projects on a timely development schedule and within the designated budget.

Muenks has more than 26 years of comprehensive real estate development experience.  Prior to joining Ginn Clubs & Resorts, Muenks served as director of resorts facilities and infrastructure development for Walt Disney Imagineering/Disney Development Company.  Working for the creative and development arm of The Walt Disney Corporation, he managed multiple project development teams from start to finish for projects ranging from $10 million to $450 million.  While at Disney he helped develop a wide variety of commercial and residential projects including the planned community of Celebration, vacation club, convention center, resort hotel, sports complex, retail, office, restaurants and entertainment venues. 

He also spent several years working for other development companies throughout the country including serving as development project manager for Linclay Coporation in Cincinnati, Ohio, and vice president of construction operations for Amega Companies in Houston, Texas.

Muenks holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri in Rolla, Mo., and an M.B.A. from University of Houston.  He has also taken several short courses through Harvard and Gallup.  He is active in the community having participated in Leadership Orlando and the Disney Magic Speaker Series.
