The 2008 Ginn OPEN® has come and gone, and left behind some amazing stories. After four days of challenging golf, it was Lorena Ochoa who once again proved her dominance of the LPGA taking home the much coveted Dale Chihuly designed Kelly Jo Dowd Trophy.

Nicole Castrale became the season's sixth Rolex First-Time Winner after defeating Lorena Ochoa in a one-hole sudden-death playoff at the Ginn Tribute™ hosted by ANNIKA™.  Castrale used a 69-71-68-71=279 (-9) and a par on the playoff hole to win a spot in the ADT Championship.

Relocating to The Conservatory™ at Ginn Hammock Beach™ Resort in Palm Coast, FL, the Ginn sur Mer Classic™ returns to the PGA TOUR's Fall Series for 2008. Be there as Daniel Chopra takes on a field of some of the tour's best and brightest.

In what seemed like deja vu, the winds picked up on the final day of the 2008 Ginn Championship™, but this year it was Bernhard Langer who showed that he was ready for any change in the weather. With a final round of a one under 71, Langer was one of only three players to finish under par for the day, and as his closest challengers continued to fall by the wayside, Langer remained on top of his game to finish with an eight stroke lead at twelve under!
