Despite Sophie Gustafson's (66, 65, 67, 79) commanding lead after three days, day four saw a dramatic change in the leaderboard as Seon Hwa Lee (68, 70, 69, 67) propelled by her best round of the tournament moved to 14 under to tie with Karrie Webb (65, 66, 73, 70) at the completion of regulation. All she needed was a par on the first hole of the sudden death playoff, as Webb bogeyed. Lee got her par, and took home the trophy as the 2008 Ginn Tribute Hosted by Annika champion.
