As executive vice president of architectural design, Guillermo Roude is responsible for creating the architectural motif for each Ginn property, managing the company’s architectural design team and working with architectural record companies to maintain the integrity of each project.
Since joining Ginn Resorts™ in 1998, Roude has served as the design architect for every Ginn project, including Ginn Hammock Beach™ Resort in Palm Coast, Fla.; Ginn Reunion® Resort in Orlando; Bella Collina® in Montverde, Fla.; RiverTowne Country Club™ in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Tesoro® in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Prior to joining the company, Roude served as the director of design for the Leisure and Hospitality Division at HHCP Design International in Orlando, Fla. While at HCCP Design, he worked on numerous projects in more than 15 countries, designing hotels, casinos, theme parks, waters parks, museums, multifamily complexes, retail centers, golf communities and destination resorts.
A native of Argentina, Roude served for six years as professor of design and visual communication at the Universidad Nacional in Mar del Plata, Argentina. He also owned his own firm in Mar del Plata, where he worked closely with the city planning department.
In 1985, Roude received a master’s degree in architecture and urbanism from the Universidad Nacional in Mar del Plata. He currently resides in Longwood, Fla., with his wife and two children.
