Hugh (Doug) Miller serves as executive vice-president of development, Carolina region of Ginn Resorts™.  He brings more than 20 years of engineering experience to the company.  Miller is responsible for managing each stage of the vertical and horizontal development of projects in the Southeast region.

Prior to joining Ginn Resorts, Miller was president of Consulting Engineer, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of projects.  He began his career with Consulting Engineer as a project engineer, where he was instrumental in creating water and wastewater facility designs for various properties and developing environmental impact statements.  Miller also served for one year as the staff area director for the Central Florida office of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Miller received a bachelor of science degree in pre-med, as well as his masters of science in environmental engineering from Tulane University.  He is a licensed professional engineer for the state of Florida and was awarded the Captain Harry H. Stuart 2000 Servant Leader Award from the Central Florida Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
