Robert (Rob) Gidel is President of Ginn Resorts™.  Gidel reports directly to Bobby Ginn as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company and is responsible for all aspects of the management and operation of the company.

Gidel brings to this role extensive experience in operating, governing, and capitalizing large real estate companies. He has served as President and CEO of several public and private global real estate and management firms during his career including Alex Brown Realty Advisors (Baltimore), Brazos Partners (Dallas), Paragon Group, Inc. (Dallas), and Meridian Point Realty Trust (San Francisco).

He has also served as a member of the board of Directors of Developers Diversified Realty Corporation (Cleveland), LNR Property Company (Miami), Global Signal (Sarasota), American Industrial Properties (Dallas), US Restaurant Properties (Dallas), Fortress Investment Funds (New York City), and Lone Star Funds (London).

Over the last 20 years, Rob has worked closely with Dean Adler, a principal of Lubert-Adler, a real estate private equity firm based in Philadelphia, PA, and financial partner of Ginn Resorts.
