Wayne Smith serves as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Ginn Golf, LLC.  He is responsible for coordinating all field operations, from design to construction, of each Ginn golf community.  He brings more than 25 years of experience to the company.

Prior to joining the company, Smith was director of golf and landscape operations at Del Webb Corporation in Hilton Head, S.C., where he was responsible for managing the operations for two of the company’s golf courses.  In addition to managing the course construction and landscaping, he was responsible for the community’s residential and commercial landscaping.  He also served as golf course supervisor at Callawassie Country Club and Moss Creek Plantation, both in Hilton Head.

Smith received an associate’s degree in horticulture from the Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, S.C.
